Quick answers to common questions about using Circuit Bungalows. Still stuck? Send us a message below.

How do I book a bungalow?

Circuit Bungalows is a directory, not a booking site. To reserve a stay, contact the department or organisation listed on the bungalow's page — use the phone numbers under Contact & booking, or the booking link where one is shown. Each department has its own reservation process and eligibility rules.

Who is allowed to stay?

It depends on the bungalow. Most government circuit bungalows give priority to public officers (and often their families and retired officers); some are open to the general public. Check the bungalow's description and contact the department directly if you are unsure.

How do I add a missing bungalow?

Sign in, then open your profile page and use the “Add a bungalow” tab. Fill in whatever details you know — new listings are reviewed before they appear on the site.

I spotted wrong information. How do I fix it?

On any bungalow page, tap the pencil icon next to a detail (or the “Add” prompt where information is missing) to suggest a correction. You can also add missing photos with the + tiles in the photo gallery. Suggestions are reviewed before they go live.

How do reviews and ratings work?

Anyone signed in can leave a star rating and a short review on a bungalow page. Ratings are averaged into the score shown on listing cards, which you can also use to sort the homepage by top rated.

The site is in English — can I read it in Sinhala?

Yes. Use the EN / සිං toggle in the header to switch the site interface to Sinhala. Bungalow names and descriptions appear in Sinhala wherever contributors have added translations.
